This whole section is essential reading for all Race coordinators and organizers. It is designed to help and assist in promoting a successful event. It must be available at the event
Guildelines for Race Organisers 2007 - This section sets out in detail the recommendations for organizing a successful event. It should be read in conjunction with The Rules of Racing.
Risk Assessment - This is part of the Event Safety File and must be available at the event on the day and should be brought to the attention of all riders, marshals and any other officials. Guidance notes 5 and 21 refer. This section has three sample documents associated with it for use when assessing courses. They are:

Police Notification - This is the recommended letter to send to the local Police Authority applying for authorisation to hold your event. It is part of the Event Safety File and must be available at the event on the day of the race. Guidance Notes 4,8,9 refer. Also available in .doc format for editing.
Accident and Injury Report - This document is part of the Event Safety File and must be available at the Event. Guidance Note 26 refers. If you have occasion to use this document it must be sent to the LVRC Secretary, Pete Wilson, NOT the Insurance Company.
Signing On Sheet - This is the only signing on sheet that is acceptable. It contains important disclaimers. (Note Levy is 50 pence per competitor not ₤1.00 as stated on the sheet. It will be altered later) Guidance Note 14 refers.
Cycle Racing On the Highways Regulations - This is a copy of the relevant sections of the 1960 Road Traffic Act. Guidance Note 4 refers
Sample of Organisers Accounts Presentation - This is an Excel spreadsheet form which guides an organiser through the account submission. Guidance note 24 refers.
