In the race for Categories EFG&H (60yrs plus) there were 14 starters and with only 6 laps completed Chris Gunter (Virgin Active) went off the front of the bunch and rapidly gained a 30 second lead after 25 minutes of racing. The bunch did not see Chris again until he lapped them just before the hour and then he continued to the finish on his own. The bunch sprint for second place was won by Roger Hornsby (G.S.Avanti) from Roly Crayford (San Fairy Ann). As a result of his win Chris was the overall series winner in Category ‘E’
