Category Standings after 5 events

In the overall standings Antony Wallis comfortably took Category A but neither Barry Neal nor Martin Meades could gain the upper hand so they had to share Category B. Patrick Schils easily took Category C, Richard Kemp managed to keep Chris Edwards at bay for Cat D & Terry Whalley took Cat E for the promoting club. Dave Burwood despite injury preventing him from riding the last few events held on to Cat F with consistency giving Mick Curtis Cat G. Roy Godbeer as befits his 82nd year economically took Cat H by riding only two events.
