Race 1-Cat.A & B -  56 MILES

1st        Andrew Pollintine (B) Dulwich Paragon

2nd    Vince Devine (A) Finchley RT

3rd    Patrick Hawkins (B) Dulwich Paragon

4th    Nick Dibble (A) Climb On Bikes

A two man breakaway formed  on this challenging course finalising in a wheel to wheel sprint ahead of the bunch by half a minute.

Race 2-Cat. C & D – 56 miles

1st   Partrick Schils (C)  Velo Schils-Interbike

2nd  Martin Hulbert (C) VC Meudon

3rd   Paul Doel  (C) Team Quest

4th  Pete Andrews (C) VC Elan/Harry Perry

Patrick winning from Martin in a bunch sprint.

Race 3- Cat EFGH – 47 miles

1st  Geoff Wiles (F) San Fairy Ann CC

2nd  Ray Palin (E) Mark Pickford Cycles

3rd Andy Hicks (F) South Western RC

4th  Oliver McPherson (E) Dunfermline CC

A 5 man breakaway formed hallway through the race, including Reg Smith (Kingsnorth International/Nico Sport), Reg unfortunately punctured out leaving a four man sprint finish. Ex Professional National Road Champion Geoff Wiles in his second comeback race showed his talent.
