Both events saw superlative rides by the winners with in the A,B,C,D Anthony Wallis in his first event as a vet, after several attempts, breaking away with Stefan Van Pouke , VC Braintree. They soon established a 45 sec lead which they held to the end where Wallis out-sprinted Van Pouke to take the victory. In the E,F,G,H event Mick Allen visiting from Derbyshire broke away after 3 laps and then continued to ride away from the rest. He lapped the field which is no mean feat on a 1.7mile circuit to take a comfortable win. Dave Burwood, Nico Sport out sprinted the rest to take 2nd.
